Kids in the Kitchen (Sausage Balls)

I am proud to say that we didn't eat out once this week. We have had a homemade dinner every night. Last night we had breakfast for dinner. The kids love the "backwards" nature of this meal. I love breakfast for dinner because it gives me an excuse to make another pot of coffee. I made the scrambled eggs and grits and the kids made the sausage balls.
Yes, Sophie is wearing her bright red lipstick. She doesn't care about the size of the sausage balls. She really likes to make a pretty design on the cookie sheet.
Bo is letting Reed help him. He doesn't really like it when Reed makes them too big or too small and he really can't stand it if they are not in perfect rows. And yes, Reed is not wearing a shirt. But he does have his pants on.

Sausage Balls

1 lb sausage

2 cups cheddar cheese

2 1/2 cups bisquick

Mix it all together and shape them into balls. Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes.
